The last step was to install the bronze hardware – the bow chocks, cleats, fast pin, and traveller anchors. As I had built 3/4″ under-deck reinforcements at the hardware locations they would be through bolted for added strength. Bolts were used for both lateral and vertical strength.

The bow cleat needed to be through bolted. I enlisted my better half, who fit quite nicely to get the nuts tightened.
