The bow and stern seats were original. I refinished them. The middle seat is new. I had to install the bronze brackets in different locations as the gunnels changed the shape of the hull. The bronze was soft enough to bend to fit. After the varnish I will install them.

Seats are in. I didn’t think to position the seat brackets before locating the rivet spacing. So two brackets ended up overlapping rivets. I drilled out the back of the brackets a bit to have the rivets recess within a pocket.

All done. Last step was to put on the oar locks. I put then 12 1/2″ aft of the rowing seats.
