Having built boat models before, I used a scale of 1″ = 1′, (I had a small model fleet at the same scale). Using the offsets I built the molds first. It was here I discovered that the offsets were a bit jumbled. So much for the Offsets being dimensioned to 1/16″! A few of the numbers were in the wrong categories. They were actually correct, just not in the right place. Once discovered it was fairly easy to correct. Of course, Mystic had warned me with a small print disclaimer that “some builders” had found discrepancies. I had joined the club.

Maybe I over did it, but I learned a bit about sequencing and construction issues, and ultimately it made those plans real. Still seemed like it was the right idea. I took it to Steve Corkery. He said, “That’s it.” So, I guess that’s it.
